From the capitol to the coast we are helping strengthen existing churches while planting new churches.

Profile

The Florida Baptist Association is a family of cooperating Southern Baptist churches located in the Franklin, Jefferson, Leon, and Wakulla Counties of the Florida panhandle.

The Florida Baptist Association was organized in 1842 with 10 churches located in six  counties. There are currently 55 churches in our Association.

David Southerland became the Executive Director in 1993. He previously served as a pastor for 27 years and a French language church planter in France and Belgium for six years.

Garry Goodin has been Associate Executive Director since 2006. Over the last 30 years, he has served local churches as Youth Pastor, Single Adult Pastor, Missions Pastor and Senior Pastor.
